PT Cipta Orion Metal (COM), the brand owner of Destec, reaffirms its commitment to managing hazardous and toxic waste (B3) in compliance with applicable regulations. Whether during its operations in Bekasi or after relocating to Tangerang, PT COM consistently ensures that all waste management processes adhere to strict environmental standards.

As part of its corporate environmental responsibility, PT Cipta Orion Metal collaborates with a second party, PT Dika Mekar Sangiyang, as the transporter, and a third party, PT Tenang Jaya Karawang, a professional waste management company with official permits in industrial waste handling. Senior HRGA Supervisor Febby Khoila Winarto stated that these partners have a proven track record in safely and responsibly managing industrial waste in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.

“We always comply with the government’s industrial waste management regulations. By partnering with competent and certified partners, we ensure that no waste is disposed of irresponsibly and that the entire management process aligns with environmental standards,” said Febby, XX (XX/02).

Additionally, companies involved in the transportation, storage, and distribution of hazardous and toxic waste (B3) must use operationally appropriate transportation facilities. Furthermore, these processes follow transportation procedures as stipulated in the Director General of Land Transportation Decree No. 725/2024.

PT COM also emphasizes that adherence to environmental regulations is a core company value. In addition to ensuring the safe management of B3 waste, the company is committed to implementing sustainable and environmentally friendly industrial practices to minimize negative impacts on communities and the surrounding environment.
